Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this but I just moved to the WNC region and one of my passions in life is football. I have consulted for middle school and youth leagues in my previous location when I had time and I considered it quite rewarding. I have a fun and uptempo offensive philosophy that puts puts the rock in the end zone. I'd like the opportunity to test my scheme at a higher level with better athletes. I realize that the odds of getting an OC gig with no experience is exactly zero but do any teams have like consulting/quality control volunteers they take on? In the event that they do, does it require a degree? I'm still in college right now so I don't know if that effects it at all.

Just as some background, I'm a big fan of the single wing as a base offense in theory but I've found that very few teams have the personnel to run it well consistently so my philosophy is spread-to-run with a whole lot of single wing principles mixed in.

Plenty of high school coaches will let you be an unpaid assistant. Sta t contacting some immediately after the season. Lots of assistants are community volunteers especially at smaller schools.

The first thing is to scratch anything to do with the single wing and then try posting again. :)

The local high schools love young, energetic coaches that will devote their time. What area are you in?
