It’s the Guard. Truly citizen soldiers with other real jobs. They train on weekends and I guarantee you they could kick the *** of any would be ICE protester. Thank God for the National Guard. ALL of the National Guard I know locally other than the full time officers might be carrying a few extra pounds but there’s no way I would want to F with any of them.

My post was not about politics. It was about how unfit our National Guard is. It's not acceptable and unprofessional. You're still expected to at least not be obese. When they're called up, they're supposed to be able to do their job, not attempt to find their penis.

Majority of adults are overweight. It’s time to understand what that means for things like national guard, law enforcement and volunteer fire fighters. Lol…lotta fat a$$es served in the navy ( in fact, it’s likely the highest fat-a$$ to non-fat-a$$ ratio of any branch). I mean it goes Marines, Army, Navy/Coast Guard.
I mean Coast Guard & navy are pretty much synonymous.

Love the narrative where if you “served” in the forces, you’re automatically a bad-a$$.

Minimum, 60% of those that serve are non-essential, battle ready personnel (logistic personnel, cooks, janitors, and so on)…and that’s if they even actually served.

Generally, those in the Armed Forces have their fellow warriors backs, and don’t talk **** about their brothers (approximately 69% of those in the National Guard, served in the regular military).
