Well, they just got a dude kicked out so he will miss the first half vs us.

If that happens to 50 other players I can see NU with a 3 point lead at the half.

There isn't a good option.

Doing the same thing we have been doing for 4 seasons is going to get our asses kicked.

But you really can't put Smothers in there first start against Ohio State.

They'll run Martinez a ton to keep us moving the sticks in between the 20's, limit possessions, and hopefully keep the score down. That's not a winning recipe but one that can limit embarrassment. But it usually results in him getting hurt.

Shorten the game, solid D and less mistakes.

We may be able to shorten the game some but we'll probably make more mistakes. Solid D is a tough call..

Martinez could only dream of a passing drive that Clifford has put together tonight against the buckeyes. So in the dreams, yes we have a chance.

They are stuggling big time with Penn State.

Throw Penn State/Michigan/Michigan State/Iowa/Wisconsin/Minnesota/Nebraska in a hat, there isn't much difference.

Nobody is unbeatable in this conference as they're simply aren't many game-changers on the DL or at RB or WR.

We lost to Illinois, Minnesota and Purdue this year and are on pace to go 1-8 in conference with a last place finish. We don’t belong with those other teams and we have a 0% chance of winning next week

Yep

When you have to pray to recover an onside to beat PU...you suck

Riley lost to PU on Halloween (my party that day was BOSS)...and it was the end.

0%?

I give us a 10% chance. Maybe even a 67% chance.

Maybe I'm just an eternal optimist?

They weren't struggling with Penn State at all. Penn State played a very good game. They kept Ohio State out of the redzone so they settled for field goals and still won by 9. The outcome never felt in doubt

Penn St secondary holds A LOT and the Big Ten refs let them get away with it, OSU receivers aren't big so they struggle with that.

We contract Sherman and Mr Peabody to use the Wavelength Acceleration Bidirectional Acychronous Controller (WABAC) machine to transport us back to 1995. Other than that, NO CHANCE.

On offense, run uptempo a lot and run a lot of RPO's. On defense, stuff the run. Our OL is big, practically 4 tackles, so they can get out leveraged in the run game and it happened a lot tonight, couldn't get any good yards on 3rd and 4th and short. Then the other usual stuff, win the turnover battle, special teams, get help from the officials, etc

Go to the 100% trick play offense. Nebraska already is good for a half dozen turnovers in this game. Might as well get some entertaining scores in along the way.
