I honestly can’t tell if your being serious or not. I’ve never seen them play obviously, they gave Burns a butt whooping, but that’s the only credible game I’d give them. Kings Mountain looked unstoppable too...until they faced real competition. I think the same goes for AC, but they might be like Hibriten...play a weak schedule but are actually really good.
If they run the table with the schedule they have they could have #1 seed. Catholic, Crest, KM, have loses and Weddington has Catholic this week!
If Watauga wins big then the AC schedule so far is a fluke. But if the other way around then AC could be on their way to an interesting season.
Never had much to holler about over the years....but I'm excited for my Alma mater this year...hope they can make a deep run...

Well they did win the conf last year only to lose to an athletic 4-7 team in playoffs. THey were suspect when they barely beat a 2-9 North Lincoln team and lost to Hickory last year. Don’t let the 2-9 record fool ya, they was prob the best 2-9 2AA team this side of the state.

That is funny (fist bump) lol. Well that’s why I narrowed it down to a section of the state to a category which is 2AA. Im sure there’s teams out East with that kinda record falling under 2AA that would beat an undeafted 4A team out this way or at least come close to winning simply because they are tough, play a tough conference and come so close in a lot of games. Remember the 2001 Carolina Panthers. 1-15? Coulda and shoulda won 4 or 5 more games than that but fell short every time. NLincoln was very tough last year and came close to beating a few higher calibure athletic middle of the road kinda teams but one fumble one INT one bad play call and they wasn’t good enough per say to get away with mistakes if you know what I mean. There’s teams out there like that with bad records and can get underestimated and punch the higher ranking team in the mouth. We seen that with AC last year in playoffs ha ha.
I get what your saying, but fortunately in football you get a chance to prove how good you are, a poll or panel of people doesn't decide if you are good. Keep up the good play and over the course of the playoffs you will be rewarded much more so then any poll can give you.
I didn't look at the rankings, I just responded to his post. Clearly he didn't see they were ranked.
