Our win over Clemson in the dance was obviously not at the RAC. I realize it was a neutral court, but saying they have not won "on the road" for so long is not really true. Indianapolis is "on the road".
Does the game have to have an opponent at their home court to make it a game on the road?

Those are neutral site games.

But then you are expecting every person in the country to know the details of every individual road game experience.

Should we characterize home games as detailed as well?
During student breaks or not?

Its just a simple measure:

The RAC is a huge advantage for us. No doubt. Road games are always tougher. Energy and the refs whistles typically favor the home team. Neutral site is different. Neither team has the home court advantage.

If you want to include the NCAA/Conference Tournament games then just say “Away from home/RAC” to combine Road/Neutral.

But most people/commenters aren’t going that far.

Generally, a "road" game is one where the opponent has the advantage of being in their home arena, whereas a "neutral site" game has both teams outside the comfort of their home arena.

Playing Rutgers on the road is a tougher match up than playing Rutgers at a neutral site, for instance. The net rankings also differentiate between home, away, and neutral.
