When do we get a 4* difference maker from Oklahoma/Tulsa? AAC is going to get pretty competitive pretty quick with the new coaches in the fold, IMO

Herman has loaded up his staff with coaches who are well known in the Texas high school ranks. Houston should be able to recruit with anyone in the AAC. Oliver is the #55 ranked kid nationally by Rivals and a composite 5*. My questions are:

Will Oliver stick with his commitment?

Will Oliver be able to recruit other highly ranked kids to Houston?

Herman is trying to change the philosophy in Houston to a physically intimidating team (ala Ohio State). Will the kids there buy into that new style? Do they have the linemen on both sides of the ball to play that style. It's going to be interesting to see who made the best coaching hire between TU, SMU and Houston.

Why wouldn't Oliver stick? his brother already plays for UH, and his HS coach is here. We should see some more dominoes fall over the next couple of weeks. We are watching the Hightower kids, the two other westfield kids (including 4* WR Cleveland), as well as 3-4 other talented kids in who are all in close contact with each other. Exciting times

Top 50 kids in Texas tend to listen to the likes of Texas and Aggie as signing date nears. Hope he does stick. Good for the AAC to have elite players onboard.

While I would tend to agree with you, he has offers from every major school in the country, same with Jordan Elliott. Those schools aren't just coming in months after UH to cherry pick, these players picked UH over the best schools in the country. Mark Berman from the fox affilliate in Houston tweeted some pretty impressive quotes from Jordan Elliott this afternoon. These kids are in it together
