Pounding Cincy @ Cincy.

It’s easy to root for this team...they play hard, dirty, and scrappy.

If you don’t take it to them, you’re in big trouble.

Kelvin is an amazing coach...he just needs to keep the texting at a minimum.

Depends on their draw, but I'll be tempted to pencil Houston into the final 4. That's a really good, well-balanced, well-coached team.

Nobody wanted to take a chance on Kelvin except Houston. He took the Houston job 2 days before Manning decided to leave Tulsa I think.

No the 7 plays the 2 in the second round which is Cincy. And SMU win means TU would not face UH until the championship game (pipe dream).

My question is if SMU (which is leading) ties U Conn at 6-12, which team would TU play? Which team loses the tiebreaker and falls to 10.

SMU is 10 seed W or L. Uconn owns the tiebreaker.

I feel like Houston matches up well with a lot of teams with the exception of maybe Gonzaga and their length. They just do a lot of things well and create baskets a lot of different ways. They could make a run deep if they can avoid getting a gauntlet like Wichita State faced the year they were undefeated going into the tournament.

He had also just got let go as an assistant to a fired NBA coach. Being in Houston already and Houston's situation at the time worked perfectly. It was a bit like getting Self from ORU. Everybody fully understood what they were getting and the move was easy inside the city.

I think UH is vulnerable to a tall, athletic front line. They could not handle Fall. I don't expect them to make the Sweet 16.

There's a reason why I said they don't match up with Gonzaga well.

Not many teams, P5s included are running out the type of tall, athletic 3-4-5s you are alluding to.
