Listening to pre-game and Shea specifically mentioned Dubose (Number 0), a 6'4 Guard that shot 43.8% from 3 last year and averaged 17 ppg.
Anyone else think that Haith should have had us better prepared for the first game of the season?
I think he should have been fired last year
Every time I flip over to the stream, someone's shooting free throws. Boring. Even the all those screaming meanies in the stands are about to get restless.
Announcer talks about ‘the youngsters getting really loud cheering’ and the camera pans the blue hairs in the crowd.
The two guards Jackson and Hill play together well and look more like guards of old.

I really like Hill and Jackson on the court together. Great backcourt combo.
We didn’t play very well early and had some bad calls early but the defense tightened up right before half and we have a 3 point lead. I’m ok with that for the first game. We need to keep it going after half time.
We can’t shoot. We don’t seem capable of even half decent half court defense. We have no desire on the defensive glass. We can’t wait 1/2 a season for Horne to decide to find the range. Right now the new 3pt line is outside his range.
Hill is going to be a stud. Jackson is getting better and the two of them in the 3/4 court press have created havoc so far. Maybe the 2 of them need to start. We still can’t defend the base line though. Way to many pts to give up to a scrub team and way too many offensive rebounds
