James Wood junior Katie Houser, who is out for the high school season with a foot injury, has made a verbal to attend Notre Dame.
Houser got "spotted" by ND staff at a tournament last summer in Minnesota and it was up to her and another girl for a spot on the Irish roster for 2015-16. Houser also had a couple ACC schools on her recruiting map but she has said she will stick by her decision to attend Notre Dame for her college future.
The kid can play! Too bad this injury has set her back some and the rest of the state can't witness just how solid her overall game is.
