You're right, but it puts on the pressure. I'm sure McConnell won't even bring it to the floor.
There is no pressure. The left has been crying about the AG not making it public just like they whined about Trump firing Rosenstein and or Mueller for 2 years. It wasnt going to happen.

They can subpeona it all they want. You are already assuming that the DOJ wont make it public. There is no public pressure to do something you already intended to do. Stop believing the people who have made you look stupid for 2 years.
