Hough vs West Forsyth

11-0 Hough vs 10-2 West Forsyth
Intriguing matchup and I know most will favor Hough in this one. For West Forsyth in the last 6 games they only given up 17 points. They shut out a tough Reagan team 35-0. The last 6 games for Hough they given up 23 points. But played solid teams. I think West Forsyth can hang with them but I believe Hough will come out. Any thoughts

Hough is the best team in Charlotte and on a mission. West Forsyth will have to throw it well or Hough will just focus on Morris and the running game, and that's a tough deal.

Hough scored 8 straight touchdowns against Palisades, so defensively you have to get Royal out of rhythm somehow. With Tyran Evans back at receiver, it makes them very difficult to defend.

I look at this game similar as their game earlier in the season against Highland Springs. The Springers were tough and hung with Hough for awhile, but Hough eventually pulled away a little.

This is probably the end of the road for West Forsyth. Hough is seriously tough, and I wish we had 1A-6A so we could see bigger match ups down the road that arent split between 7A and 8A....

Give me West Forsyth, they have the defense to slow down Hough enough…drag them into a time of possession game. Don’t forget, West has a shutdown corner in Josiah Nicholson who will be playing in the SEC. DB Nicholson on WR Evans is a must see matchup. West Forsyth will apply great pressure with Defensive End and UGA recruit PJ Dean who is a problem… had a deflection pick six vs Mallard Creek. On the other side DE Turtle Eldridge is 2x All-Conference and he brings it every down. West can also throw the ball much better than everybody thinks, ask Reagan HS. Can Mozes Morris take West Forsyth to the Promise land? We will see…

I don't recall 6 times but West Forsyth was in the red zone 4 times and came away with nothing. They also went into conservative mode when it was 16-0 and they saw Mallard had absolutely nothing.

Hough won't run over West Forsyth if Grimsley & Richmond Sr. couldn't.... West had both down going into the 4th quarter. Hough has to score and that won't be easy against that defense. Hough should win!.. I mean, it's a Charlotte HS....Everybody else is inferior...Right?

I have no dog in this fight, but video don't lie. MC beat themselves more than WF beat them. They had multiple opportunities to score. Credit WF for taking advantage of taking opportunity MC gave them. WF is definitely a well coached team. They don't beat themselves.

I just feel Hough is a different animal from MC. Where MC struggles offensively, Hough excels. Hough's defense may actually be even better than MC. I like WF. QB is a gamer, than CB is the best CB in the Southeast( yeah I said it). I just dont see them out pacing Hough

My thing is Mooresville had Hough on the ropes at one point against Hough. Lake Norman had Mooresville beat until 10 secs left in the game. So never can tell some of these games can turn out. Having said that I feel Hough comes out good 14-17 point win.
