Downtown, but the options were getting pretty slim.

The airport has several nice hotels. The Hilton Brentwood is a nice spot too if you don't mind driving downtown. An Uber will be about $35 from Brentwood & $25 from the airport.

I like staying around the Vanderbilt area. Those hotels normally offer free shuttles downtown and back. Or if you're out later than the shuttles run, it's a cheap / $10 Uber ride back.

Probably not going to make it due to work but I checked the new Margaritaville Hotel and they still had vacancies. A plus was that there is an Old Smokey Distillery and brewery on the same block.

Last time at the Music City Bowl, we stayed downtown at the Doubletree...never touched the car for 2 days. You can walk down the hill to Broadway and walk to the stadium across pedestrian bridge. Check out Dec 31 and save big $$.

Nashville Dawg here... I'd recommend staying either downtown or in the "Midtown/Vandy" area. Plenty of options from all the Marriott / Hilton / Hyatt brands and the Midtown/Vandy locations are very close to downtown for the game / downtown action. Midtown has some pretty good bars and restaurants too.

If you want to stay out from town, I'd say Brentwood is the closest and best option. There's a bunch of hotels near Old Hickory Road and 65, also in the Marriott / Hilton / Hyatt families. Before I moved back to Nashville, I stayed at a couple of Courtyard / Residence Inn locations near Old Hickory / Maryland Farms. As mentioned by others, the UBER downtown from Brentwood is pretty quick and only $15-25 depending on timing.

Team is staying at Opryland... I'd say go check out the Christmas lights and stuff, but wouldn't recommend staying there. It's far from everything you'll want to do in town except the airport in and out.

For those inclined, AirBnB is huge here in Nashville... can generally find some solid spots not too far from downtown. Look for places in Belmont-Hillsboro, Sylvan Park or even East Nashville. All pretty good areas with some good neighborhood restaurants and bars.

Hope this helps!

AirBnB is indeed huge in Nashville. The last couple times I've stayed overnight there, I've gone the AirBnB route because the hotel costs were at Snoop Dogg/Willie Nelson levels.

I was really happy about one place I stayed but not so enthused about the second location.

Take advantage of the AirBnBs in Nashville because our housing costs are certainly feeling the impact...

I am staying in Mt. Juliet its a 25 minute drive to the stadium. We will probably go to a bar that night and get a Uber or Lyft 1 night but not both.
But I am only paying 125 for 2 nights. instead of 350 for a night

Double Tree downtown Nashville (using Hilton Honors points) only 0.7 miles away from the stadium.

There aren't many hotel options in Franklin. I think they're building a Curio, but last time i checked it was still a few months away from opening. That'll be nice once it's up and running.

I am a Hilton guy and there are plenty of Hilton properties in the Franklin and Cold Springs area. However I did cancel my reservations and I am now staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown. I just put some thought into it and came to the conclusion it would be more fun staying down town. My teenage son is bringing a friend and I thought I would use points so they could enjoy the trip out side of the game.

Plus we can walk to the game and walk to all the restaurants.

Sorry - I meant downtown Franklin. You have to stay up at Cool Springs unless you VRBO. That’s why I’m excited about the Curio that’s coming.

Honestly, the Hampton Inn down South 65 at Berry Farms is really nice. It’s a great deal.

ETA - looks like that Curio is now open.

The new Harpeth is nice: https://harpethhotel.com/

...but all the construction around it isn’t done. Also, getting downtown from here is a haul. I live west of downtown Franklin and it’s not fun getting to downtown Nashville.

If I were coming in, I would Airbnb in The Nations. It’s a couple minutes from downtown and not as shady as East Nasty. Also easy Uber in and out.
