We are in a bad spot with the roster. Only one recruit for next year has committed since Hoiberg came aboard. How long do we give players to make up their minds if they want to be a part of the team this year or not? What is fair? We need time to go out and get the best players available that can help us THIS year. We need to honor committments....but it's a two way street. Their coach left...I get it. But let us move on too .

I’m thinking it would be nice for Hoiberg to be in his office for more than a week at least.

It’s a dead period. Can’t talk to unsigned recruits yet. They’ve been having individual meetings with current players/recruits this week to figure out where they stand.

At this rate, he might have to hold open tryouts this fall just to field enough players to practice - like Doc did his first year here. I remember Doc had to suit up a student manager in order to scrimmage.

I cant remember where I read it...but Johnny T. reached out to Hoiberg about being a grad assistant. I think that would be a smart move for Hoiberg.....
