I'm down with anybody that Brad Underwood and Tad Boyle both are going after. And of course, Fred knows a thing or two about playing in the front court as well. Great get!
That's a nice connection with the Waukee area. I'm sure Sandfort had a role in this.
Nice addition. Haven't had this combination of length and athleticism on the roster for some time.
Roby 6'8, Copeland 6'9, McGowens 6'7, Williams 6'7 and Banton 6'8 all come to mind in recent memory
Roby is the guy who came to mind for me, and he was six years ago. Banton was also long and athletic, but underwhelming at NU. As a Husker, McGowens played like he was 6’2”.
And while I loved Brice Williams, I don’t think athleticism was really his strong suit. He could just flat-out shoot.
Reminds me of the annoying wings that have ate us alive at Iowa & Wisconsin over the years.
