Just like in football, the entire place needs to be wiped out. It's a disaster. No links to the past. Eddie is a horrendous coach and his staff is a joke. He cannot recruit. He cannot coach. Notwithstanding maybe 3 kids, I feel bad for the players because they are just not Big Ten players.

Hobbs must do this quickly after our season ends and have coaches lined up. After the way he handled the football search and hire, I have complete faith that he will do what he has to and turn this around. There are proven coaches and coaches like Chris Ash out there. Having a new practice facility in the works is a great thing to sell.

No one with any credibility wants to coach here because RU can make no firm commitment to anything that matters - facilities, quality assistants, recruiting budget, etc. There is no fix without a major investment, major.

Funny I'm pretty damn sure we're very close to finalizing plans for the practice facility and, YES, the funds will be made available for a proper HC and staff when the times comes.

I'm with the OP, btw, EVERYONE has to go "bye bye" from this staff. Clean house!

Guys, I have faith but even with certain commitments this job is not attractive. Most elite recruiters will avoid just based on history and this where you make impact: assistants. Those assistants won't come without certain promises like am I going to bring a knife to a gunfight or can I go toe to toe with St. John's, UConn, Cincy, Cuse, Providence, Indiana., etc

First of all: R-E-L-A-X.

I didn't say Rutgers can't build a winner.

But it's not a job where we're going to steal Book Richardson from Arizona, Rasheen Davis from VCU, or Darren Savino from Cincinnati.

And to BAC: Sendek is out of work and I'm very interested in finding out who he would target for his top assistant.

Have faith. Hobbs is smart. He's getting his new coaches early in his tenure, something Julie never really got to do.
