Hibriten needs to limit the turnover bug that has bothered them all year and contain the RB from Freedom who has been very good this season so far!! Think it’s going to be a close one into the 4th qtr

You guys aren't bad, just not as good as you expect to be. McDowell beat Freedom 30-6 in the spring, I knew Freedom didn't improve enough in 5 months to beat Hibriten even if yall lost a lot.
42-14 final sloppy 2nd half but good conference win
Travel to West Jefferson next week to take on Ashe who lost to Alexander Central in OT tonight

Didn't expect that. Watauga beat South handily I'd say they are in the driver's seat of the conference.
I’d think so but really it’s like 2 mini conferences in 1 when you start thinking about playoff berths
Ashe hasn’t been as good as past 3 or 4 years or is it cause of the 3A thing not playing lossy goosy Wilkes Allegany schools? What’s going on in Jefferson?
I think Ashe is about the same as past years. They throw the ball so much they beat teams or play teams close that can't defend the pass but usually don't have a great defense.
