You have served your country. There are also plenty of other service members and law enforcement folks on WVSPORTS.COM and (I assume) Herd Nation.

What's your thoughts on kneeling for the anthem?

I defended his constitutional right to practice freedom of speech, which is what I think he's doing. I think the people who should be asked this question should be the African Americans who served our country in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam who were sent to fight a war for their country, but were not yet afforded the right to vote for or against those politicians who sent them there. If those men and women feel like what he's doing is courageous so be it, if they feel it's disrespectful also so be it. I think there's other ways to go about raising awareness other than kneeling during the Anthem, but if that is his platform he should be allowed to do so. I don't particularly agree it is the way to handle it, but it's his choice and he's free to make it. I'm not near as overly protective of the Anthem as I am the flag.
