The facts are thought leaving is a definite possibility, staying also is an option and that's a fact. What “facts” are in there other than “exploring options”? Did I miss something if so thank you.

Glad to see you're so concerned when things look bad and seem to be less involved when the opposite is the case.
No I'm not picking on you, just stating it the way I see it.

I pay attention to both cases and seem to notice how you post more often during bad situations compared to the good ones.Simply not true. Please stop making **** up. Maybe it’s you who just doesn’t pay attention when I have positive things to say about positive outcomes.
Actually this fan is a bit confused and would love to find out the reason Diamond entered the portal. The comment in the article linked in my above post that mentions that.... fans are overreacting and not reading the room,.... seems to sum up what is going on here to a large degree.
I'm with you on the issue of her reason for entering the portal. I'm not necessarily confused, but am curious to know the reason for her decision. I just think that this situation(portal entry of major players) may be about to explode on the women's side because the stage has been set for that. Unfortunately, I believe we fans are going to have to get accustomed to star players moving around more often w/o a hint. I hope I'm wrong.Actually this fan is a bit confused and would love to find out the reason Diamond entered the portal.
I don't look at that as the result of being completely happy.
Especially when the odds are more than likely she was going to be the main scoring option next year.
As someone who has followed RU WBB since 1985, the period coming; end of CVS and post CVS, will be a drought compared to what we have come to expect.
I’m sorry that’s not touchy-feely and “warm” but it does not seem that RU is any longer a “destination” job anymore.
It would be nice to be totally wrong, but this is Rutgers we are talking about.![]()
The fact that she included #nobully in her tweet definitely concerned me. It is most likely a major factor in her wanting to explore other options. I do not believe either the coaches or the graduating seniors are the likely culprits. It would be much more likely to be other underclassmen. No matter who it is (and it could be more than one person) the coaches should be on top of it and making sure it stops. She posted NOBully in her tweet which implies she experienced some form of bullying from teammates or coaches.wish from them.
She still looks like she has some fire left in her, to me. And actively coaching.
People get ready! As I said in the above quote, things are about to get crazy. Programs are gonna need to hire a GM, a Jerry West. lol Our staff is going to work harder than any other time of year from right now to mid-summer. The portal is blowing up and we need to be a major player in this market to bring in whatever players fill our needs. This year's transfers provide a huge pool of players in addition to HS graduating class of recruits. We can easily be stronger than this year if you can convince 1 or two studs to come here with our promising young class and top-notch facilities, and HOF coach. This is an exciting time. and who knows, maybe Diamond stays. This article is very informative and states a lot of what I and at least one other poster has pointed out about the transfer phenomenon.https://www.onthebanks.com/2021/3/2...ers-transferring-is-not-an-insult-to-the-fans
This is going to be a time like we have never seen in college sports for a couple of reasons. The "extra year" ruling, "no longer having to sit out a year" ruling, and the Covid effect are a few things that are going to wreak havoc on programs across the country.
You really cannot underestimate the effects that the NBA, and now, WNBA free agency and trade culture has on young college athlete thinking. LeBron sprouted a mindset of players controlling their own fate. The new rules mentioned above, open the door for them to do just that. All of this,.....on top of....the regular reasons that student athletes decide to transfer.
By the way, a ranking of players in the portal - I'm not vouching for its accuracy, but it was professional - ranked Diamond #2 behind one of the Syracuse players. There are a number of good players - but not stars - available. Some are probably already decided, of course, and a few Grad Transfers are probably going to go where they can continue their studies as they wish, since they are not "W" level talents.People get ready! McCray is apparently hated by the fan base, but she's only been there 1 year. Took one year to ruin what Schaefer built is the sentiment. We need to be focused on; how many spots do we have available?, what positions are of greatest need? and who can we target for those positions?
Miss. St is losing players like crazy. I would love to see Rickea Jackson (Miss. St) come in and see Diamond stay. Syracuse has 10 players in the portal already. Maybe their big, Cardoso, might be next. We would definitely want to go after her too. Looks like Coach Nikki McCray and Hilmon may be in trouble.
These are going to be exciting times for the next few months. Let's hope for the best!
I would think that this is just the beginning of transfer frenzy. I'm sure there will be some stars on the move soon. Some of the "good" players/ grad transfers, we know can be just what we need. Coaches can't tamper pre-portal entry, but I would think players are lobbying other players to link up. It's already over 1000 in the portal as of last night. There are a number of good players - but not stars - available.
RUMOR HAS HER GOING TO GINOIMHO - A former #6 recruit in the nation doesn’t go into the portal to “test the water.” I’d guess she’s 90% gone. She’ll have her pick of programs ti play for a title 3-4 times.
Please show your source for this rumor.RUMOR HAS HER GOING TO GINO

Syracuse is one big question mark, wonder what the heck is going on over there with all those payers leaving? I thought Hillsman was a well liked coach by his players, and he did really well after he took over for the last coach. We need to be focused on; how many spots do we have available?, what positions are of greatest need? and who can we target for those positions?

He's always been the coach you just love to hate, thinking back to when we used to do battle against them in the Big East, because of his courtside manner and they oftentimes gave us fits.Another good post crazee.
