Our offense was awful for a long stretch of the game today. We had five offensive possessions in a row that resulted in zero points- one of those drives starting in the Memphis red zone. We HAVE to get more consistent. Rogers looks scared shitless to go downfield and that has to change, because the plays are there.

We 17ing blew that game several different times.

That said, it’s okay to admit all this and still be pissed about the officials. The call on the punt return was maybe the worst call I have ever seen in a major CFB game. Period. And it costed us seven points in a two point game. Not that it matters, but the SEC has to release a statement of explanation about that.

I literally said we blew the 17ing game. The officials were not the primary reason we lost. We outgained them by 200+ yards and still found a way to blow it.

Those things can be true, and we can also point out that allowing the punt return TD to stand was an egregious officiating blunder.

Oh no doubt. That crew should never call another game on any level, not even Pop Warner. Still, it ain't their fault we were in a position for them to cost us the game. At least two people need to be fired tonight. You could make a very good case for three. You could add another one maybe, but not tonight.

I honestly don’t understand what game you watched. For the most part Will had all day. The line can only block so long. When you hold the ball for 10 seconds things are bound to break down

no offensive line can block for Rogers because he holds the 17ing ball too damn long. This offense is not sit back and hold the 17ing ball. This offense is get the ball out quick and then smoke them on a deep route when they start to cheat. He has guys open and he’s not seeing them. It’s the QB, not the line that is killing this offense.

This is a terrible take on today’s game. Fair for previous games but today Rodgers had plenty of time. Other than several holding calls and the personal foul the OL did their jobs today.

You gotta look at poor playcalling in critical spots, the same old indecisiveness from the QB, and critical mistakes in critical spots.

He didn't possess the ball. You have to possess the ball. It happened right in front of me so I saw it clearly. The picture here is misleading.

The ref still blew it when he let the play go on after whistling it dead.

Will causes a lot of the pressure on himself when he holds on to the ball and then moves the pocket. The oline was doing their job. The QB wasn’t.

Maybe this loss is indicative that we just aren’t any good. Or maybe it’s one of those weird *** losses that Mike Leach is known for. After watching this team for three weeks with wildly varying results, I don’t think you can rule anything out at this point.

Err . . . maybe I should say it like this: we aren't very good. We will do some very bad things at critical parts of a game, and those things will get us beat a lot of the time.

I saw a post that said our football IQ was low. I agree 100% with that. At least some of our players are not very smart football players.

I can rule out us being a good football team. Our defense is good most of the time but our offense stinks the joint out. I have a bad feeling we are in for some brutal conference beat downs.
