I wasn't a big fan of him or his antics. It's sounds like their AD is serious about improving their standing in wrestling which is a good thing.

Is he out because of their wrestling or because he's a jerk and his jerkiness has rubbed of on his fans and wrestlers?
He's the biggest jerk in wrestling and their fans are the worst but I thought his wrestlers had improved.

Hmmmmm...quite a few thought he was getting jobbed when he didn’t get to replace Jack Spates at OU.
Maybe those in the administration already knew why they didn’t want to hire him, instead choosing Mark Cody.

I know Sammie fairly well and he is a great guy. But he is a poor winner, he takes a loss okay but wants to act like a real jerk when his wrestlers win. I hope he works his match side behavior. Might be Wisconsin assistant next year because he is close to Bono.
He was a punk and talked trash and didn't back it up. Four years in and the program is trending in the wrong direction.

Yeah, it is nice to see programs like WVU and Wisconsin expect better. I know that is a low bar but it is nice to see. You would think the WVU program has decent potential just based on location.
