Been away from this forum since June...focused mostly on football now but ran across this interesting video I thought I'd leave for my most challenging posters.
@Op2 @Boomboom521 @WhiteTailEER @RichardPeterJohnson @countryroads89, among others.

I actually was thinking of you guys based on some of our past exchanges when I saw this so I hope you have a little time to look at this and weigh in later with your thoughts. I don't expect many minds will change after you view this, but you never know?

It's a thought piece. Surely you guys have done a lot of thinking while I've been away haven't you?

Come on back......I have been catching you on the BL. BTW....you won't change any minds of several of our OT friends.......most of them are not open-minded enough to change.

I know that bornaneer...but you have to at least put the "word" out there so they are without excuse.

I'm aware they will reject what I've presented, but that will be with full awareness of what was offered.

(BTW I'll still be posting mostly on BL, but I'll wander over here from time to time to see what's up?)

They are probably more into denying Truth than being comatose WVU82 but that doesn't change what they're refusing to accept. If you're standing outside in a pouring rainstorm with no protection it's pretty foolish to assume you won't get wet.

We have no reason to hide from the Truth, but we also have a duty not to hide it from them.

Stay encouraged.

I'm certainly willing to listen to them refute the evidence presented in the video. Truth is not relative.It can be tested. If they have the Truth, I'd be interested in hearing at least one of them present the alternative that refutes what I offered in that compelling video?

Here's my argument, what's yours?

If any of them had the courage to actually watch it, I'm waiting for their courage to come back on this forum and refute it, or offer their contrary evidence against it.

Their silence says more to me than any counter arguments any of them are confident enough in or prepared to come back on this thread & make.

But had a great Summer...did some fabulous reading, and getting a kick out of watching Trump wrestle with the Left as well the Republican establishment.

Joel Osteen was the perfect example of Christ on earth, how he took all those hurricane victims in his church despite it being flooded. Won me over. I changed my wicked ways and repented. The lord worshed me of all my sins. He even forgave me for hitting up that Piggly Wiggly. I'm now on the straight and narrow forevermore, never to stray again.

Hope you included the millions more Church congregations from all over the country sent in to aid those folks. It came in faster and dwarfed the response aid from FEMA. Other private fund raising also arrived before most FEMA bureaucrats managed to arrange their hotel and flight reservations.

The federal government will spend billions in Texas before it is all said and done.

But don't pay any attention; some of you guys hate big government and people "sucking off the government teet."

Yes true. But where did the money come from? When Government starts generating it's own revenue to give us that's the day we truly will be free...or slaves.

Typical of the Left. @countryroads89 tried to imply Joel Osteen ignored offering his Church to help homeless flood victims (in fact the Church was opened btw) yet when I point out that millions more in immediate aid from other congregations all over the country came pouring in before FEMA even set up shop the response was "FEMA will spend billions".

Of course FEMA comes in with it's own money, it's own unpaid volunteers, and it's own equipment at the drop of a hat right?

FEMA couldn't function without the help from so many of these private organizations supplementing its work or taxpayers who willingly send in their hard earned money to pay FEMA bureaucrats to simply hand out checks.

The Left always forgets one fundamental Truth about Government. Nothing it does happens without us.
