For the record, this place is so dead, no one has posted since my last reply. Might be the only place to for any trash talk once we get closer to the season starting. What type of board is this? lol
Screw Penn State. Screw Minnesota and Illinois worse.Go Penn State
How do you feel about the SEC?Screw Penn State. Screw Minnesota and Illinois worse.
Iowa will go 9-3. We all are on the paid board. If you're interested pay the extra couple of bucks for posting privileges there.I am curious your thoughts on this upcoming season?
There will be plenty of opportunities for all in '25 CFB.
For Iowa, obviously continuing success in Ames is a key Week 2 game for the Hawkeyes.
The season of CFB kicks off for Iowa State-Kansas State in DublinIowa played two teams who opened the '22 season in Ireland, when Northwestern pulled off their lone win of the season over Nebraska.
Texas at Ohio State will determine who kicks off in the #1 position.
Should be a great year of CFB OP.

Man up and play nine conference games. How do you feel about the SEC?
Alabama plays 10 games against power 4 teams (same amount as Iowa), as do several other teams. Part of the SEC scheduling rule is to have a Power 4 team in your schedule to make up for the 9th conference game.Man up and play nine conference games.
One of Washington, Iowa, Wisconsin or tOSU@dp rtr who would you like to see as opponents for your team if the new Big Ten & SEC scheduling agreement happens.
What about you?@dp rtr who would you like to see as opponents for your team if the new Big Ten & SEC scheduling agreement happens.
For Iowa? Home games I'd like Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, or Kentucky. Road I'd like Ole Miss, South Carolina, or Georgia. What about you?
Are the P4 opponents better than SEC teams? I didn't think that was possible.Alabama plays 10 games against power 4 teams (same amount as Iowa), as do several other teams. Part of the SEC scheduling rule is to have a Power 4 team in your schedule to make up for the 9th conference game.
It’s not. There is a B1G team in there though. You had a peek at Indiana’s non conference schedule? Or PSU?Are the P4 opponents better than SEC teams? I didn't think that was possible.

Without looking at the full schedule, I know, Bama, South Carolina, UGA, Florida all do. Everybody plays at least 9 P4 games (SEC scheduling rule requires one P4 OOC), with the exception of I think Oklahoma because they’re still new to the conference and couldn’t get games set up."Alabama plays 10 games against power 4 teams (same amount as Iowa), as do several other teams."
The SEC has 16 teams. How many are several?
It would be more impressive if everybody played ten. I imagine the television networks would love another eight games of SEC football on the schedule.Without looking at the full schedule, I know, Bama, South Carolina, UGA, Florida all do. You are thinking of Florida State. Iowa will win nine games, maybe ten this fall.Iowa is going 5-7 this year.
If Vegas set Iowa's line at 9.5 games, I'd put $100,000 on the under. You are thinking of Florida State. Iowa will win nine games, maybe ten this fall.
As you may or may not know the line depends on the wagering public. The folks laying the money down. It also changes daily. If Vegas set Iowa's line at 9.5 games, I'd put $100,000 on the under.

It would be pretty stupid to put a six-figure bet on a team's season on June 25.
Would be an over achievement. Fan dual has the o/u win total at 7.5 which sounds about right.Iowa will go 9-3. We all are on the paid board. If you're interested pay the extra couple of bucks for posting privileges there.
You bet your retirement account on the under?Would be an over achievement. Fan dual has the o/u win total at 7.5 which sounds about right.
As someone who has multiple very large retirement accounts, no. But I would feel great putting a pretty large bet taking the under on the 9.5. I think the Hawkeyes go 7-5 or 8-4.You bet your retirement account on the under?
So you'd put a pretty large bet on Iowa going 9-3 after you told me they wouldn't.As someone who has multiple very large retirement accounts, no. But I would feel great putting a pretty large bet taking the under on the 9.5. I think the Hawkeyes go 7-5 or 8-4.
Are you getting posters confused? I wouldn’t put any kind of bet on Iowa going 9-3. I would take the under if Vegas or someone had the o/u at 9.5 (like the other poster mentioned). So you'd put a pretty large bet on Iowa going 9-3 after you told me they wouldn't.
They could, but I'd be willing to be they don't lose to every single one of those.Iowa could lose to Iowa State, Indiana, Penn State, Minnesota, Oregon, USC, and Nebraska. Wins against Michigan State and Wisconsin aren't guaranteed either.
