No excuses not to have EVERY seat filled in Carmichael this coming week. Let's go!
Should be a festive atmosphere at the selection show viewing party with the team tomorrow night. I was concerned things might be a bit glum if we already knew we weren't hosting.
Emails with seat locations have been sent out already. Expect general public tickets to go on sale soon

Great opportunity to excel and reach the sweet sixteen, which will assist in recruiting and exposure.
We definitely need to use this opportunity as a building block for the future. Play hard and get to the sweet sixteen, then recruit some great athletes. That's what we need to get to the next level, IMO. It's what separates us from the top teams.
Assuming the women’s tourney will have games played during the day on Friday and Monday? Hoping to make it over this weekend, but work prevents me from going during the day so likely will have to purchase single session tickets. Would be great to time it not to conflict with baseball series but know UNC doesn’t control that.
There's a lot more home baseball games to be played. I'd say let WBB have the nod on this one. Plus, who doesn't want to be in Carmichael for an NCAA first/second round NCAA game?

Not yet. I’d assume we take the 2nd game for a start time between 7:00 and 9:00. No games on the west coast

I once dubbed Maryland coach Brenda Frese the ratface of women's hoops for the way she constantly worked and berated the refs. Supposedly she has mellowed a bit since giving birth to twins, but that remains to be seen.
Most likely won't be announced until all of the Friday games are done. That lets dSPN put the best games in their preferred time slots.
Will not know until late Friday or early Saturday. All dependent on matchups. No west coast game. Farthest west is TCU and Texas. A potential Carolina and Maryland is a headliner and would likely get a good slot.

Carolina is 15 (aka the third 4 seed) in the final NCAA seedings. Dook was the highest 3 seed with Louisville behind them.
For reference, last year for the Sunday 2nd round had 6 games on ESPN (noon through 10pm, starting every 2 hours), and then 2 games on ABC at 1pm and 3pm. I don't think there are any west coast teams that could host that 10pm east coast time slot this year on Sunday (though they did force Oklahoma and TCU there in the 1st round, for a 9pm CST start), so they may have to bump a game over to espn2. ABC will have the two "biggest" games (probably LSU and Texas, if they both advance, though Michigan/Tennessee could supplant one of those), and then the rest of the games could fall anywhere from noon to probably 9pm local time.
