Postseason in Carmichael again!!!! It deserved its own thread!!!
Not yet. I’d assume we take the 2nd game for a start time between 7:00 and 9:00. No games on the west coastDo we know our Friday time yet?
5:30. Maryland before us.Do we know our Friday time yet?
Perfect... I can go straight to Boshamer for baseball at 8.5:30 Friday tip time. Get to Carmichael early!
That's my plan, as well.Perfect... I can go straight to Boshamer for baseball at 8.
Will not know until late Friday or early Saturday. All dependent on matchups. No west coast game. Farthest west is TCU and Texas. A potential Carolina and Maryland is a headliner and would likely get a good slot.Anyone know the Sunday game time?
For reference, last year for the Sunday 2nd round had 6 games on ESPN (noon through 10pm, starting every 2 hours), and then 2 games on ABC at 1pm and 3pm. I don't think there are any west coast teams that could host that 10pm east coast time slot this year on Sunday (though they did force Oklahoma and TCU there in the 1st round, for a 9pm CST start), so they may have to bump a game over to espn2. ABC will have the two "biggest" games (probably LSU and Texas, if they both advance, though Michigan/Tennessee could supplant one of those), and then the rest of the games could fall anywhere from noon to probably 9pm local time. The Friday games by two highest seeds are:
-(4) Carolina, (5) Maryland
-(4) OU, (5) Michigan St
-(3) TCU, (6) Washington
-(4) Minnesota, (5) Ole Miss
-(3) Duke, (6) Baylor
-(2) LSU, (7) Texas Tech
-(1) Texas, 8/9 Oregon, VT
-(2) Michigan, (7) State, (10) Tennessee
Carolina and Maryland could get the prime time slot on Sunday if both win Friday.
