Any thoughts/predictions on this tournament?

Yutan 18-1 vs South Loup 17-1: Yutan. South Loup hasn't played near the schedule, so not sure how good they really are.

Hastings STC 16-3 vs O'Neill 18-1: Going to be a good one I think. I'll go with the upset here. STC has Fri night off to rest up, while O'Neill doesn't. STC does have a dogfight tonight vs GICC.

Omaha South 6-12 vs York 18-1: York. Haven't seen or heard much on South this year.

Gretna 15-3 vs Ponca 20-1: Gretna will just be too much. Ponca will make it interesting for awhile.

GICC 15-5 vs Winnebago 17-3: Bago is too skilled and too good of shooters.

Skutt 16-3 vs Aurora 17-2: I think Aurora gets the win, but it wouldn't surprise me if Skutt pulls it off. Aurora has a big game Fri night vs Crete, while Skutt will be home resting.

Platteview 18-2 vs Crete 15-6: Rough two nights for Crete. Platteview rolls.

South Loup is good, but so is Yutan. I think Yutan wins by 5 or less

If STC shuts down Appleby, they win. STC by 10

Saw York play once, and wasn't quite sold on them. O. South is always athletic so I'll take South by 6

GICC has turned it up a notch this year. I saw what BRLD did to Bago a few weeks ago, and GICC will have no problem doing the same. GICC by 15+

Haven't seen Skutt or Aurora play this year, but I'm taking blue blood Aurora and Scheierman (however you spell it) by 10.

Saw Crete play once, they have potential, just have to put it all together. But I think Heiman/Thayer and Plattview get it done by 20+

Any radio coverage for these games? With the snow expected, I don't think I'll be making the trip.

Good day of basketball.

Yutan/South Loup: Probably one of the better games of the day, for those that got there earlier. If Yutan is for real, so is South Loup. Looked like two state tournament teams. Fiest is a bull. Dockweiler/Connell were impressive.

STC vs O'Neill: Extremely impressed with STC, they handled this game start to finish. Once again, they'll be a big factor in Lincoln. O'Neill has 3 studs, but STC was able to focus on them and the others couldn't make STC pay.

York vs South: Missed this game for lunch. Buddies said York was impressive and handled South pretty easy.

Ponca vs Gretna: Clash of styles. Gretna took Ponca out of their style, but Ponca hung around and made plays when needed. Really wasn't impressed with Gretna. Ponca on the other hand, shot horribly, and still found a way to win.

GICC vs Winnebago: Obviously missing La'Pointe (sp?) hurt and was a big factor in the game. Decent game.

Skutt vs Aurora: Very impressed with Skutt. Played well, defended well, shot well. Not a lot of drop off in their top 7-8. Aurora just seemed off. Was almost a little like O'Neill, two studs that Skutt keyed on and the others couldn't beat them.

Missed Platteview vs Crete.

Agreed. Great day of basketball. I was very impressed by all the C-2 teams that participated. That class is going to be fun to watch in Lincoln in a few weeks.

York has me convinced. I watched all Class B teams, and York looks like the favorite with Skutt a close second. Was not impressed with Aurora and Platteview (thought Platteview would handle Crete easily). Crete stuck around and has some potential.
