lol pedo state was too afraid to play a power conf team in non-con - what a bunch of pussiesI haven't seen a single team look dominant. Right now I think PSU is the best overall but this year looks like it could be very wide open for playoff spots.

Who are the worst in the SEC? Kentucky? Rutgers, Maryland, Northwestern, Purdue are terrible venues compared to anything in the SEC. The SEC is college football, and we will see that when a super-conference is made. There is absolutely no reason that Maryland, Purdue, Rutgers, Northwestern are in a major football conference...they will get cut. There is still money in the big 10 but not because of its worst teams, just in spite. OSU, Michigan, Penn State can't wait to get rid of that dead weight. We just have to hope we turn the corner before the cuts start being made.Do you really believe UGA plays Tennessee every week and Oregon plays Northwestern every week. You can’t nitpick their top match-up of the week against the B1Gs worst. We have barely started conference play as we don’t throw an easy game into the middle of November like the SEC does.
Who would you rather watch next weekend? Nebraska versus Michigan or Tennessee vrs UAB? Maybe you liked watching Texas play UTEP this week or you are on pins and needles waiting to watch them play Sam Houston state next weekend. How about #9 Illinois at #22 Indiana over LSU playing Louisiana Tech? Or undefeated Michigan State at undefeated USC versus watching Vanderbilt play one win Georgia State.
Point being is there are good and bad matchups in each conference.
You are totally changing the narrative of your op that I responded too.Who are the worst in the SEC? Kentucky? I’m all about winning and getting to the playoffs. If we have to win the Big 12. Then so be it. If we have to win the PAC 12, so be it. If we have to win the Big 10, then so be it.
If we’re making our schedule easier to put us into positions to more likely make the playoffs, wouldn’t it also make sense to perhaps put ourselves in a more winnable conference which also has an autobid?
You ever thought of just cheering for Iowa State, Kansas St., Kansas, Colorado... If you like the Big 12 so much more than B1G then why not just go cheer for one of those team... and viola problem solved no more B1G
No i agree. That’s what makes this entire hypothetical difficult. We’re never leaving the B1G and UNL would fight it in the courts if the B1G tried to remove UNL. Overall, I don’t think I’d ever support UNL leaving the B1G.Sounds good going to a “winnable conference” when you’re making B1G money.
Make “winnable conference” money and affording those players becomes more difficult. JMO
I did as well
I am a Nebraska fan. I cheer for Nebraska and against every B1G school like every NU fan with two intact testicles and a functioning brain should. You ever thought of just cheering for Iowa State, Kansas St., Kansas, Colorado...
