This guy sounds like he's got little school syndrome or something. Most of the time the "Cinderella" schools will play physical basketball but from what I heard about his time at WKU he just coached a dirty basketball team. Trezl was no saint, but I heard they were playing dirty. I never got to see that game or the scuffle. Can anyone recall how the events went down?

There are two guys on this UofL team that won't stand for any type of dirty play. Mathiang and Johnson. Neither one of those guys will allow Harper's team to play dirty without repercussions. Seeing how important both are to the team, I fully expect Jacksonville State to attempt something dirty to instigate an altercation concerning those two. Everyone else I think can keep their emotions in check. Not sure about those two.

They were taking unnecessary shots all game, imo. Any confident basketball player at a high D-1 school was only gonna take so much of that.

Yeah from the looks of the video they were trying to get under his skin and set him off. Looks like they succeeded.

The refs allowed the physicality of the game to get out of hand. Fortunately no one was seriously hurt......including a ref.

Look closely at the video during the scrum, and you will see a WKU player punch Trez in the crotch. That swing was no accident.
