Until they had no postgame show. I know part of this was because we had overtime, but I'm not liking an OU game following us. Will be majorly annoyed if we play after OU, and miss half a quarter of football because of this.

I listened to the post game show on the way home - heard from Derrick Alexander, Garrett, Dane and coach Monty.

Well hells bells, my radio on my phone must have juggled itself to another station with OU football cuz like immediately after an ad early on, all I got was OU football. I didn't even look at my phone/radion cuz it was OU football. If it had been hip hop, pop, /anything but country. I woulda looked at the dial and corrected it! Damn it!

Does anybody know if there's a way to hear it online, after the fact?

So I guess this is my complaint thread. Had a work thing I had to attend to that ran me late. I got there about midway thru the first quarter, and the Tshirt I paid for was sold out! How can it be sold out when someone already bought it.

My wife makes fun of me for doing this but I always take my radio to the game with me. I usually sit in the end zone (because I am cheap) and can't get a good view so the radio helps me keep track of what I can't see. With that said the signal was not strong in the stadium. I thought it was just my radio at first but switched over to KRMG and it was coming in strong. I had to hold my radio by the headphone jack in order to get any signal at all. If they would just put a big screen in the North end zone it wouldn't matter so much.

Um, it's not KRMG anymore. I think the main station here in Tulsa is FM 99.5 Big Country. I honestly would have forgotten about the change over the summer except that I saw a billboard on the way to the game.

He wasn't saying it was KRMG, he was contrasting 99.5's signal to KRMG. Another skimming posts or reading in one ear and out the other issue? Do u have adhd?

My phone got the game in just fine. I think one time I turned a little bit one way and signal got a little weak. Other than that one half a second period during the game it was fine. I like listening to the game for their insights as well as injury, penalty, and stat information that they get. I never go to a game without my headphones.

Note: I have had real problems getting reception in the Reynolds center because of the building. Hate to think bout what it will like with 99.5's weaker signal.

99.5 did carry the entire postgame show. I heard it great in the car and had a few minor issues with it in the stadium but nothing that wasn't unbearable.

Does the fact that coaches use radio frequencies communicate interfere with outside radio signals at all?

Not that I'm aware of, my reception of the game only wavered for a half second, it never wavered with krmg.

Since the radio coverage is with Scripps group of stations, does that mean others could be used as well for TU games?

Be thankful we didn't go with KAKC for the nighttime coverage...

Neither, the Moto G is one of, if not the only phones out there, with an fm radio receiver built in. U use your headphone cord as your antennae.

Google phones are the best. Nexus 6 here, upgraded from Moto X. Moto X was best phone I ever had and Nexus is living up to its name - Is the FM receiver built into it as well?

A whole bunch of phones have an fm radio receiver, but it is not wired in at the hardware level for some odd reason. The moto x has one but it is not wired in. As far as I know the Moto G is the only phone that will still let u listen to fm radio, their might be one or two others, but in limited research, I don't think so.

There is a consortium from radio that is pressing cellphone manufacturers and service providers to turn on the alleged FM chips that are in many phones. So far, few have been made functional and are mainly in some Android phones.

Seeing as how the smart phone has an umbilical cord coming out of me and most of the rest of the world, I like the fact that I can listen to NPR and TU sporting events where ever I go.
