Drake won 77-71. I stopped watching with about 9 minutes left as something came up and had to leave for awhile, and was surprised when I got back home to find that they came back to win. They had probs finishing at the rim and allowed NAU to knock down 3 consecutive 3's at one point in the 2nd half. Wowsers.

This Fla/Zona game is fun to watch even though Zona has short-armed a lot of chippies. Haugh for Fla has been out of his freaking mind.

Both teams are really sloppy with the ball.
Granted, its a bunch of top-tier athletes playing fast but so many turnovers and loose balls.

Me too! I was at Fran’s first and last games at Carver, and will be at Ben’s first tomorrow. Hopefully his last won’t be for a looong time!
Brock Harding ended up with a not so happy opening day, 6 points on 2 of 11, 0 of 4 from 3, 6 assists and 5 steals in a 78-74 defeat at home against New Orleans. in 36 minutes Riley Mulvey ended up with 3 rebounds and zero points in a Siena win. Seydou Traore ended up scoring 23 points for Utah in a 84-76 win on 9 of 14 shooting and 5 of 8 from 3 28 min, with only 1 rebound, Pryce Sandford ended up with 3 points in 21 minutes for Nebraska's 86-53 win against Western Georgia, and finally Isaiah Johnson-Arigu with 6 minutes left in a game against St Mary's in 13 minutes he's 0 of 1 with St Thomas down 70-47.

I knew Traore was going to be one of, if not the biggest, losses from all the transfer outs this last April/May.
Ohio St. had over 50 ft attempts in their game against former IUPUI... yikes.

There's still enough food in the ocean that is the Big Ten for Iowa to feed on and make the NCAA tournament, HOPEFULLY! I'm going to trust Ben's coaching to win a few games that was almost impossible under our former coach, I guess we'll see how our mad scientist draws things up starting tonight, go Hawks.

Horrendous basketball by UT Martin to continue to foul 3 or 4 times within 10 seconds of each possession the were up by two possessions. Still won and beat UNLV.
Georgia would have been better off scrimmaging against themselves than playing the actual game they did.
