I'll repeat what I've been saying for weeks - the OL issues isn't talent in my eyes. I see mental and technique issues, like they literally don't know who to block repeatedly. The tackles are getting bullrushed right to the QB with almost no resistance - poor technique. It's bad coaching, period.
you are 100% correct.
This is also on par for Donovan's OL room.

Sacks per game:
2022 - 2.7 (91st)
2023 - 2.4 (92nd)
2024 - 2.3 (79th)
2025 - 3.6 (131st)

Sack Percentage:
2022 - 8.57% (102nd)
2023 - 10.0% (122nd)
2024 - 6.19% (62nd)
2025 - 11.06% (131st)

Yards per Carry:
2022 - 5.1 (88th)
2023 - 4.9 (100th)
2024 - 4.9 (106th)
2025 - 3.8 (101st)

Those are spanning 2 head coaches, 3 offensive coordinators, 2 RB coaches, 6 starting QBs, and 5 primary ball carriers. 1 variable has remained constant: Donovan Raiola.

Yep. Pretty ridiculous that Dylan wouldn't step up into the pocket there. That's making it way too easy for the opposing defensive coordinator. They must have been laughing in their press box.

If it were that easy, every defense in the nation would just line up two guys in the 9 gap like they did there and let them run around the side.
I really think Dylan needs to be humbled a tad and that means sitting out a serious or two. He thrives on clean pockets and open receivers but that is something hard to find in Big 10 play. I feel a large number of the sacks are avoidable if he throws it away or follows his interior lineman forward.

I saw Prochazka getting driven into the turf bur Gottula and Prichett just look confused on assignments. That is coaching.

Maybe we should recognize the variables you listed are HHUGE variables. 3 OCs is usually a problem. You want to pin everything on Donnie, but clearly there are multiple variables outside of his control. My beef is more with our OC right now.

I don’t disagree, but across those 3 we still couldn’t get much right and more often than not it starts with the OL. Add in, Rhule has hired 2 of those OCs. Should we have confidence in him hiring a 3rd? Hiring an OL coach?

We forget that opposing DCs do everything they can to confuse 20 year old O linemen and QBs.
That's true, but in the fair amount of other teams that I watch in a given weekend - I don't see any other teams with OL play that looks so bad. Do you? I'm not sure I've ever seen another Nebraska OL look this confused and ineffective? I mean, 9 sacks kind of speaks for itself. I'm fine with saying Dylan bears responsibility, the WRs can take their share of blame, Holgorsen also... but I don't see other B1G teams with an OL looking like this, and they're facing the same DCs we are. At the end of the day, when Gottula is one-on-one and his guy goes right past him with almost zero resistance - that's on him.
