Man, thank God Conley came back tonight. Has been a huge difference so far. Has 21 points with about 2 minutes left. He has been on fire.

Wow, he proved me wrong. Like you said, one tough dude.

I had conceded the first two games. Hoping against hope for a chance at 4 out of 5.

He got hit in the face that one time and shook it off. Damn, talk about grit and grind.

First team all defense!

Tony was all over last the joint night between his new rallying cry and calling Conley "one-eyed Charlie"

Memphis was never going to out shoot Golden State, so the only prayer of getting a single win in this series was going to be through outstanding defense, and man did they step up last night. I wasn't sure if they had it in them after watching the Sunday afternoon debacle, but they proved me wrong last night.

As far as Conley goes, what can you say? Dude makes me feel awful for every bad thing I ever said about him 4-5 years ago. Not that I disliked the guy, but I didn't thing he'd ever be a legit starting PG in the league. TNT showed a stat right before the game that said when Conley's in the game, Memphis is shooting something like 47% from the floor. When he's out, they're shooting 28%. His ability to pull the defense and get to open spaces in a split second just has no equal on the Memphis roster. Bless Beno's and Nick's hearts, but that's just not who they are.

If Memphis somehow goes on to win this series, this will be one for the ages

Tony destroyed Thompson mentally tonight, great game defensively by the whole team.

And the most non-Tony part about it is that he didn't wander.

When he's playing off the ball, he has a tendency to cheat to try to play passing lanes, which sometimes causes him to leave a guy open. He didn't do that with Klay last night. He stuck to him.

The most impressive play he made though, I think, was when he went flying by Curry at the 3 point line on the pump fake, yet somehow he managed to control his body enough to put his hand over Curry's eyes without making contact. How you physically do that while flying through the air to still disrupt the shot is crazy to me.

I know Conley hit some big shots and played with confidence early, but his biggest contribution last night was his defense on Curry. He has the footspeed and balance to stay with the guy and not bite on the shakes and gyrations. I'm telling you guys, if he can stay healthy, and Allen can stay healthy, the splash brothers are going to have their work cut out for them.

Another thing you're not hearing a lot about - ZBo absolutely abused Green. He had a good first game against him too. All of this premier defender stuff people are saying about Green won't apply to this series. ZBo is doing work.

The "Beno can't play defense" argument was put to rest last night too. He had a couple of very nifty steals, a couple of deflections, and some really big rebounds in traffic. Best of all - Calathes was where he belonged for most of the night.

The Grizzlies can win this. It's a bad matchup for Golden State.

Serious question: is Beno the best backup point guard in the league? I tried to think of one last night and couldn't.

He's up there for sure.

Pablo Prigioni for the Rockets is good but he's starting now because Patrick Beverly went down. Grevis Vasquez.
