You told me that the Ridge coach might be a better defensive coach than Phil Colicchio of Linden. I tend to disagree. Ridge lost on their home court to East Orange on Thursday 65-58. Linden just beat East Orange tonight at Linden 67-35. I rest my case.

Agree with Figg.
Just to be clear, OF COURSE talent matter when playing D. Greene has just been saying the exact opposite for years here when discussing RU's defensive woes. I was just busting his chops.

All I know is that Ridge has the big kid in the middle who is 6'8" or 6'10". He scored 30 for Ridge the other night and I think is going to Boston University.. Linden's tallest starter is 6'4" tall. They don't have any D-1 talent except probably the soph, Tavon Jones. He has already been offered by St. Joe's. He is I think about 6'2" tall and can really take it to the basket as well as hit 3's. He had 6 threes in one game in the state tourney and had 5 in a game vs. Roselle Catholic. He is going to be a real future star. He should be on our radar. The Star Ledger featured him as a player to watch in the state tournament.
GRF, I am glad you will be rooting for Linden. I think tomorrow night will be a tough game with Newark East Side. They have won Group III several times and been in the TOC.
