Grentz hires Foley

Theresa Grentz added former Temple University head coach Kristen Foley to complete her Lafayette staff.
Foley earned her bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Rutgers. A standout women’s basketball player under Grentz, she captained the Lady Knights to consecutive NCAA Elite Eight appearances in 1986 and 1987, while being named to the All-East Regional team in 1986. Foley was inducted into the Rutgers Athletics Hall of Fame in 1995.

Following her playing career, Foley spent three years as Grentz’ assistant coach at Rutgers.

She did a nice job at Temple, they always was a tough game. She should help with Philly recruitment, hopefully this won't effect us.

Won 45, lost 93 at Temple; won 71, lost 149 career.

She did not do a nice job at Temple. It also has no bearing on her abilities as an Assistant Coach and I'm sure she will be a great help to TG. We all know Carlene Mitchell was a great assistant for us, but likewise did not have a good time of it as a head coach.

But is it just wrong to say she did a nice job at Temple.
