I think we all felt this was coming. I heard he was interested in the EG job and then with Crest opening up.....
This move has nothing to do about being the head coach at Starmount or the community. He has nothing but great things to say about this place.
This was a family decision and out of respect for the him I will not go any further.

He is an alum, former player, former OC there, so the answer is yes.
Any good possible canidates for the Starmount Job? Any Coach on staff at Starmount that would be qualified to be a HC?
I am sure as well as Greg Lloyd did in his first year, several will want to apply for the job. Here's wishing Starmount the best of luck on a new hire ! ! !

I don’t no squat but heard there was a possibility of him having interest in EG job also.
Didn't he apply for that already. Turned down the RS job I heard but who can blame him there. Only hope that county has is to consolidate all those athletes and be 4 a. Or what 6a or 7a in the new realignment. They don't have kids like they used to.
Deana, the field looks great. However, After playing there many times, it hurts my heart a little bit that there is not a reference to GATA anywhere on the field.
Starmount has handled this much better than the sour grapes up the road.

I agree, this is was done with class. Something Starmount has always had.
I hated to see this but fully understand that family comes first. I know that I can speak for everyone at Starmount in wishing the best for Coach Lloyd
