Green gets 0 points and still gets a pass. Seems a lot of difference between how he and Diallo get treated by the fans. We need them both to shoot well today.

Green's shooting was the difference in some thinking we played really well, rather than thinking we reverted back to January play. He just missed some shots that he normally makes, and had he hit 2 or 3 of them, we would have been impressive. I agree, that he, and Diallo will be important in today's game, not only for scoring, but keeping Sexton in check.

Both are freshmen, still adjusting to the speed of the college game. It doesn’t matter whether fans give them a pass or not.

Expectations for Green and Diallo have been wwaayyy different..... and should be.

One has the greatest athleticism in the world, the other.... not so much.

That may be a wee part of it.

Especially considering the way Diallo plays defense.
Pay some attention to it today. Kid gets after his. On the perimeter, in the paint... Doesn't matter to Hami.

Diallo's D yesterday was damn good, he was cutting through screens and totally disrupting passing lanes.

He got isolated on Maten in the paint and didn't let him score

Didn't like Coach telling the team Quade would go for 25 or 30. You could tell he was forcing it as soon as he got in the game. Put undue pressure on the kid who was scoring with ease the last few games.
Oh lord.

Who cares about yesterday. We got a hot Bama team in our way.

Let's see Quade get back to being his usual solid self- hit shots, handle the ball, make great passes, be pesky on d.

Let's see Hami do the things he's good at: play hard defense, run the floor, work hard on the glass, hopefully knock in 1 or 2 three's...

Agree with this. When I heard Cal say this in the shoot around I was thinking that just put a lot more pressure on Quade and you could tell when he entered the game he was pressing to try and make Cal’s Prediction come true.

Hami played good defense yesterday and made a couple of jumpers so lets just hope he can now build off of it. And I've heard people give Quade a fair amount of grief when he plays bad. Hami has just had way more inconsistency.

I thought his d yesterday was noticeably better as i commented during the game.
Everybody played d as evidenced by the score.

When Green rushes his shot, he usually struggles, today he may shoot well.

This!!

He was jacking it up as soon as possible yesterday. I look for him to be settled in a little more today. He seems to struggle on the road with his shot, so hopefully he has gotten adjusted to his surroundings today.

We really need him to score today.

That's just it with Hami. He shows what he's capable of defensively (like the WVU game) and then he plays 3-4 games in a row where he just goes through the motions and wants to pout instead of play. I guess since it's tournament time he realizes it's time to start raising his draft stock. I don't care just keep playing hard.
