I would guess he plans a visit if he has any interest in Nebraska and following his former DC here. Like our chances if he visits. Thinking he’s also going to have numerous options if he’s near 100% healthy this spring.

My wife and I sat next to a cute young girl on a flight from Omaha to Newark in late Sept. She was a friend of Gould's from NJ and she said he was probably going to transfer. So this was in the making long before Rhule or White was hired.

Well that is a more reasonable possibility than many. If that is the reason. Maybe he was homesick and was headed there regardless who knows. But there are a lot of kids entering the portal and a lot of the reasons are IMO stupid or poorly thought out. Transferring to a school with out a DC when you play defense is a questionable move. Moving closer to home is the only thing that would validate that move.
