McConnell, Young, Mulcahy and Carter coming off the bench, The '19-'20 team had the ability to play at a very high level, as evidenced by the SHU game in the video posted by OP. Wish we could have seen that team finish that season.

Watching Myles in that video I had forgotten how good defensively he was against the pick 'n roll. Super.

I did not particularly enjoy that game.

And you know, Rutgers actually missed a good number of decent shots in that eight-minute span and it was still 20-3. If they had been unconscious, it could've just as easily been more like 30-3. But they just absolutely suffocated The Hall.

I've actually never seen a tape of that game, which I was at. This was the first time I really saw how hard Powell's head hit off the floor early on on that charge by, I think, Mathis. He went to hold it right away, which is not something you always see. That concussion seemed to plague him for quite some time that season, if not the rest of it. He never did shoot quite as well after that, although there could be other reasons for that decline.

Not a fun night for guys like me.

Mathis was always good at putting his head down and getting first downs. In fairness, his defense on Powell appeared to be very very good that game.

Classic Willard. Guy was so incapable of getting his team ready for a hostile environment. You will beat the Terps every year they travel to you.
