My post regarding Cliff posted on March 8 still stands. My very well connected family member reiterated that Cliff is a lock for tomorrow. He said that is of course unless something untold happens between now and then. Let us hope that this will not be the case here. We shall see.

I am not some well connected recruiting guru. Someone within my family is a high level North Jersey basketball coach. He strongly indicated over a month ago that Cliff was headed to Rutgers. This has not changed and as of right now this still holds true.
Also, this is not some sort of hedge. I enjoy reading the board and for the most part, I never post. I had something of value to offer and passed along some legitimate information.

SOSHU was referring, of course, to an illegal offer that was too good not to accept. Were Cliff better skilled offensively, rather than having offensive potential, he would be a 5-star and wouldn't have RU on his radar, unfortunately. The OP's source was right to hedge. We all can name any number of coaches that recruit dirty.
