Office of diversity and inclusion = Finding racism where ever and however you can, regardless if it really exists, to justify your own existence.

They’re gonna have to find a way to repackage this because it never goes away. Give it a couple of years. There are people who want strife between groups. There is money to be made

Sadly, this is after they successfully planted many undeserving people in positions where they will be sheltered from being fired.

Pendulum coming back into balance. Waste of time and money for sure
Unfortunately it's imbedded in most professional curriculums and their national re-accreditation standards. The federal government is hiring and promoting unqualified people based on their race or sexual orientation. It's a mess. It's horrible affected our military readiness and competence at multiple critical government agencies.

Where's the refund for the tax payers?
Zip zilch nada. Socialism is great until you run out of other people's money. Unfortunately I think this is what happened. Inbev found out and businesses took notice when they saw the financial implications not the common sense ones.

Institutions of higher learning are no different. Budget issues will cause scrutiny. About as bad as coaching buyouts

The demand for racism in this country far exceeds the actual supply.

They found out that there is zero ROI, (return on investment) contrary to what the advocates promised. Instead, it continually sucks more and more money, creates none, dilutes organizational talent and is a constant pain in administration/HR’s ***.

The whole concept is/was based on a lie… That there was immeasurable untapped talent amongst minority communities that was being “passed over” in the professional ranks. Complete horse ****, it’s not 1955 anymore, companies don’t pass over talent infavor of schlubs that look more like themselves. Yes nepotism and personal favoritism among the private sector will always exist, but it’s Marxist and unAmerican to eliminate it by government mandate/law. Just cause some people get to jump up in the line doesn’t mean the system (capitalism) is broken. Capitalism is based on the personal economic freedom to produce and profit from your production/work. That’s freedom, just like free speech it comes with acceptance of speech you don’t agree with. Some of us (most of us) may not like nepotism or “cronyism” but they are small unavoidable side affects of healthy free market capitalism. JMO rant/

Just replace the traditional Marxist terms/words “profiteer” or “capitalist pig” with today’s “racist/homophobe/transphobe/xenophobe/Islamaphobe” and you have modern America’s version of Marxism, and DEI initiatives are their “Cheka.” And for those who don’t know…

Cheka was the Soviet secret police (established in 1917 after the Bolshevik revolution) who hunted down the “profiteering” bourgeoisie. The Cheka had over 200,000 agents and it’s primary purpose was to root out and imprison (or ultimately execute) Russian capitalists and/or anyone who opposed the communist doctrine(s).

DEI offices/departments are America’s modern day Cheka light. Accept they root out racism, homophobia etc… instead of capitalists.

Not bad, but I think you are wrong on the concept. I don’t think it was ever sold as untapped talent, rather, it is sold as things are better when the people involved are diverse. That’s it. As if a group of people in a business or professional setting, that look different and come from different places. is necessarily better than (no matter the situation or circumstance) a group of people that generally look similar and have similar life styles. It is preposterous and utterly indefensible, but it was a useful tool to essentially mandate affirmative action and keep the lunatic fringe (media and gutless politicians) off your ***.

Get rid of the man-hating **** while they're at it. It's disgusting what was allowed on the university campuses, on prominent display at the UNO library for one. Of course there's no way I could speak out about it while affiliated with UNO, but an anonymous message board is about the only place It's even possible.

BRAVO, I bombarded Greene on Twitter when he created these offices it was a terrible decision.
Agreed but he was pressured into it even though I was pissed at him. There was a national probably soros funded lobby to all the states and businesses and they were stupid enough to cave. Proved they don't know their customer or constituent. Ad firms gullible the most and put all that and drag queen crap out there as normal. WRONG

Part of its pitch is that it would ultimately strengthen your company’s talent pool therefore increasing your efficiency and ability to generate profit. (did the opposite). But intimidation was there most effective sales pitch. Nevertheless, the assertion that DEI initiatives would strengthen your company’s talent and ultimately result in better production/profits was a lie. That was my point, but I agree that the base concept of racial culture diversity was/is sold as superior regardless of context. Which is also a lie…

Hmm…

Why don’t “they” teach us of this massive revolution in texts that slaughtered millions?

Hope this doesn't leave us with a particular lack of talent wanting to stay or come here. I doubt it affects much with many programs around the country cutting back on it all due to costs and all that. But players like to believe they're somewhere progressive, or at least not regressive. Guess we'll see over the coming years. Helps if we win on the damn field

Why do I get the feeling recruits are not sittimg around eliminating their school choices based on whether or not they have a DEI dept....
