Saw it the other day. Fantastic movie. I knew it would be good from the reviews but I was still surprised just how good it was.
Hoping it comes on to my black box. Have a theater in the basement and I got 3 boys who are Godzilla fans because of me.
Really got into the monarch series of movies and now show on Apple.
Did it have subtitles? Not that it matters but I think it was a Japanese film

Outstanding character development and the story actually overshadowed Godzilla itself. I've never been so invested in the human characters in a monster movie.
We saw it in 4Dx so the immersion was amazing. Can't believe they did that on a 15 million dollar budget.
Not arguing that. I just wish it was a little more consistent. It went from pretty good to downright garbage in places.
Hardly noticed,.. Was more into the human element and the story but I got you.
Oh yeah. Well, considering we're not puppeteering anymore and Godzilla kinda IS the focal point of the movie and all...but yeah the story.
