Angry comments allowed. Realistic ones. We are stuck with Matt Rhule to the tune of 80+mil

Mullen is a better coach than any on the Husker O Staff. But as Deion would say, "he ain't coming."

I'm not a native Nebraskan, so apologies if I'm not babyshit soft and allergic to success past the 90s.

Maybe they'll get another guy with Husker ties for y'all to circlejerk over
I've seen guys like you on this board for years that call out fans because they don't freak out like you. They can't be " real " fans for accepting of failures. I've seen all Nebraska's NC 's. Calling for Rhules' head in the first year isn't what any sane Nebraska fan does. I think we have some more mature guys on here like me that understand the state of this program past and present. If you can't see improvement in comparison to last year with all the variables included, then maybe this game is over your head. I understand the frustration but I'm past that, I look at progress...albeit small steps.

I'm not calling for Rhule's head.

I'm calling for an offensive coordinator who has created multiple NFL QBs and beaten real competition.

If that is controversial to you, you just enjoy being a loser.

You just can't except that Nebraska sucks all around and need to find fault in someone's job. It doesn't matter how much you cry because people with brains and not emotions are in charge at NU. Satt is not going anywhere..

Yes, that's how having a job works.

Right, tell me how many conference championships the current brains are responsible for. Hell, ranked wins even

You and anybody else would fail at Nebraska. Turnovers and QB play has been the difference in winning and losing. You can blame coaching if it helps but it's been a deep rooted on going problem that has to be worked out. It's going to take time as we all knew . Deal with it or not. I'm done debating.

I'm sure Satterfield would fail as an Oil & Gas Accountant. If he witnessed me run my company into the ground repeatedly he'd be qualified to say I'm doing a bad job.

You're not debating anything, you're trotting out the same tired argument from the Frost days. The end of game decision making is poor, and that's all there is to it. That's not a talent or culture issue, that's pure coaching.

And you're spewing the same ol answers to a deeper problem. Lets' fire somebody and start over ....yeah that's worked out well. I've built stuff a my whole life. I don't care what you say to me, if you don't have the materials your not erecting the building. I understand somebody wants answers for why . The only thing I will blame these coaches for is the lack of identifying a QB and bringing him in.

Nope you’re just dumb. Mullen isn’t coming here and if he does coach he’ll be a head guy so STFU

Dan Mullen, the guy who failed at Florida. I am skeptical of anyone who can't win at Florida. Florida is loaded with talent, it's inexcusable not to win there.

As a HC he went to multiple SEC Championships.

As an OC, he won national titles

Take a step back and look at the situation.

It is year 1 with a new coaching staff at every position, a new scheme, a roster that has 5 senior starters and hasn't been to a bowl since 2016.

We're out our top 2 QB's, top 2 RB's, top 3 WR's, and a starting OT. And the OC should be fired before the end of year one? I'm not sold on Satt, but come on. Give the dude a chance.

Dan Mullen at this point wouldn’t want to take a back seat as OC. Plus, while those southern coaching names sound attractive I don’t know how effective they would be recruiting the same type of talent to Nebraska.

Forgot what I made you pissy about months ago, but thanks again for the bump.
Actually, I misread your original post last night and thought you were calling for Rhule to be fired and replaced by Mullen. I deleted my responses.

I agree, he has a phenomenal offensive mind. Offer $2.5 million and that will at least make him ponder. Would be a great setup for if he ever wants to get a head job again that isn't at some directional state U.

Yea because paying him, which would never happen, would have made all of our players this year magically healthy and better coached over the previous 5 years. Instant results! Yea go get him!

like when the Gators went from 4-7 to 10-3 in his first year? like when he coached Alex Smith, Tim Tebow, Dak Prescott and Kyle Trask to tremendous results?

its clear you don't watch college football outside of Nebraska, but i'm guessing you heard of those guys when you decided to bandwagon the Chiefs

WTF? You are comparing our players to those players? You need your head examined. If we had any QB close to those players, we would be a 2-loss team maybe 1 loss team.

I am not a Chiefs fan for wherever that came from.
