Never a friend to the Tulsa's or the Wichita State's, he has Wichita State out of the tournament even though they are ranked # 21 in the polls and have a 28-4 record and 17-1 in the conference. He is nuts. He is probably still mad that Tulsa got in last year.

Not only that but Illinois State is something like 25-5 right now and most bracketokogy folks have the Valley getting 2 teams in.

Wichita State would be a team I would pay to see in Tulsa next week.

Out of town Friday but might go Sunday to see them or an AAC squad. Not interested otherwise.

Palm now forced to put WSU in tournament. He sure hates that.

Who wants to play a Greg Marshall team in March?

Anyone?

They could be the most ridiculously low 9 or 10 seed to face a 1 or a 2 Saturday or Sunday...

Hope to see them here as a 7, 8, or 9, or 10...but I don't think they would put them up against Kansas again as an 8-9. Maybe a 7-10 against a # 2 Baylor.

I'll predict #1 Kansas and #2 Baylor also expect to see Arkansas, Wichita State and maybe Creighton. Oklahoma State would be a huge surprise I dont think they will be so lucky.

By contrast Duke and No Carolina play their first round games in near home cities like Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Raleigh and now this year just across the state line in Greenville, South Carolina.

I suspect because of their #1-#4 seeds every year they get home field but it sure seems the NCAA caters to their needs.

GO TU!!!!

OSU cannot play here. If Baylor and Kansas are here they are elsewhere. Big 12 deal. Would love to see WSU, Arkansas or Creighton, or a Big 10 team here.

WSU and/or Arkansas might propel the sessions to sellout status, KU will bring its 7-8,000 and Baylor will pull in 2-3,000 (just guesses).

Conference opponents cannot play in a game prior to the Elite Eight. If you get a pod with KU at a #1 seed and a pod with Baylor as a 2-seed, OSU has to go elsewhere. I would love to see Cincinnati as the 7 or the 8 here though.

I'm seeing Cincy being projected higher than #7 in most mock brackets.

BUMP!!!

Yep... Greg gets it...

Following his team's 64-58 win over Dayton on Friday, Wichita State head coach Gregg Marshall criticized the NCAA tournament selection committee -- again -- for slotting Dayton as a 7-seed against the Shockers, a team many believe deserved better than a 10-seed.

"And I would like to finish by saying that, once again, I think Dayton deserved a better draw in this tournament," said Marshall, whose team will advance to face the winner of Kentucky's matchup against Northern Kentucky. "I'll finish with that."
