After flying high against The North Carolina Leadership Academy on Monday, Mount Airy came back down to earth. The Granite Bears took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Radford Bobcats on Friday. The contest marked the Granite Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Having lost for the first time this season, Mount Airy fell to 4-1. As for Radford, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Coming up, Mount Airy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Carroll County at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Radford, they will be home for the holidays to greet Pulaski County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

This is best girls conference in 3A! Right now SC and ES are 3 and 4 rpi. They play Friday at ES. sc PLAYS ns TONIGHT. SC or ES could win it all they are that good.
