People are dumb. The coach at Grand Valley State University was asked which historical figures he would like to have dinner with. One of his answers was Hitler because he considered him a great leader. He is now suspended pending an investigation.

People are dumb. Most level headed scholars and public speakers will tell you that Hitler was one of the greatest orators ever. Being able to convince people to do the atrocities that he did is simply unfathomable. Some coaches can't even get kids to line up correctly. Cult leaders are able to convince people to commit murder and suicide. It's crazy to think how persuasive some people can be.

And yes, it takes an influential leader to do crazy ****.

Gives a new meaning to offensive coordinator **

I wonder if he'd still be suspended if he had said Lenin or Stalin.

[Go Budaw]

A fresh new take on the “Germans” meme. Well done.

I'm going to take this a little further. What separates Hitler and Manson and other cult like personalities was their ability to understand what people were capable of if they thought enough people agreed with them.

Having dinner with him is different than having a general curiosity on how he was able to turn most of Germany into a bunch of serial killers. Justified suspension for a stupid answer.
