Why would it be "virtually impossible" to get him away from PSU? They have been worse than us last couple years
I don’t have an answer but you can’t deny we’ve had trouble leveraging the portal to bring in starter-level play especially when competing against other P6 schools. I understand Pike wants guys that buy in for multiple years and are willing to follow his system, though I have trouble believe many talented players aren’t willing to put in the work.
Yeboah and JY are the exceptions.
He's not going to PSU. Rumor is he is heading out west. PSU is not a team to be feared in recruiting battles at this point. This isn't football.
Man, if only we had a truly legit consistent 3-point threat. Even if it’s spot-up and not necessarily off the dribble. Geo and Ron were decent, but a specialist can be even better.
Starting-caliber transfers: Yeboah, Young, Gettys
Backup/rotation transfers: Hyatt, Carter, Sa
Transfers that didn't work out: Kiss, Agee, Mensah
1/3 were starter quality, 1/3 were backups, 1/3 were washouts.
He might - but I was just going on what we've actually seen in a Rutgers uniform to date. So far he's been a rotation player averaging just 12.8 min/g.

Shaq Carter and Gettys were starters. Hyatt will start.
True, and I would argue both of those guys gave us starter level play while they were here.
