Gates County won’t be a push over. They have a solid RB that big, physical & a powerful runner but can they stop Tarboro is the question & I seriously doubt if they’ll be able to do that! Hopefully Tarboro defense comes to play like last Friday

They gave up 68 to Riverside I think tarboro will score at will in this one. They had a physical team last year as well. I like tarboro by a lot
looking forward to this one. Will be the first one I've been able to attend in a few weeks. I'm thinking this one may be played on Thursday.
I'm thinking it's going to be on Thursday too. Which would be all right with me because I'm off on Thursday and I have to work Friday
I hope we play with the same energy we played with against Bertie this past Friday. I loved what I saw. I know it's Bertie who is down but still I liked the energy we had. And I wonder if we'll throw the ball more against gates county, we threw it five times against Bertie lol

Doesn't matter how good a running back is if he can't take a handoff without having 5 people in the backfield.
It's very rare you see a running back run all over Tarboro. And when we played Gates county last year they only threw it twice so I don't picture them throwing it much. To put it into perspective how little they threw it last year against us, we threw more passes than they did Lol

Hopefully it wasn't serious. Also I really like what I'm starting to see out of the team now. We started off a little flat but boy when we got rolling we were rolling.
Also Riverside won tonight. And since they have a bye week next week, that means in 2 weeks when we play them on the road they will be undefeated. But I will say I'm beginning to like our chances a lot more, especially when you consider that the team we played tonight scored 44 on them
It made me a little nervous just how easy Gates made their opening drive look. That #1 was looking really tough to bring down. The defense after that just put the clamps on everything.
Maybe our guys were just a little too excited from homecoming and the pep rally earlier today and we came out a little flat lol. But yeah after that opening drive it was lights out.
The shanked punt gave them great field position. On the long run the back made there was two arm tackles at the line of scrimmage. I don’t think you stop that 245 lb back inside the five. The only real concern for me about this team is the kicking game. Can’t give short fields to good teams
If you watch Riverside on film the majority of their plays are swing passes to the backs . They like to get to the edge and use their speed
False start and holding penalties on that opening drive didn’t help either.
