Played solid for real. A couple bone head plays but overall he played great. Needed him to.

Heās usually terrible. Heās had exactly two great games this year. Why doesnāt he do that more often?
This is the Garrison we expected coming back this offseason. Dude has enough talent just needs to be more consistent. He thrives against athletic big and I think he can have a game like this against Missouri tomorrow. Malachi was terrible and BG came through. Happy for him because it has been a very frustrating year for him.
If thereās anybody you do want to see.. they will play again tomorrow because of BG

I recently said that I never wanted to see BG shoot another 3. Another poster pointed out that he took more 3's last year and hit a number of them. I am SOOOOOOO glad that he hit those 3's today! I hope this game gives him a world of confidence going into the game against Missouri.

Had to have it because Moreno just looks completely in the dumps the past few weeks. Just utterly lost out there. I don't know what happened to him.

The biggest difference I saw was the shots went in. If he misses most of those little semi hook shots and those threes donāt fall like normal. Cats would have lost and heād be getting dog cussed on here.
Agreed he needs offensive consistency. But... he has a near elite skill in his ability move his feet on defense for a big man. He can guard a pg on perimeter. They don't even try to challenge him anymore

BG is secretly one of the Monstar's and stole his talent from him for the SEC tournament.
His body is too weak. Needs to hit the weights and get more endurance.
They showed where he hit like 2 of 14 3s attempted this year....

I hope we can afford the 4 million to bring him back next year. The way things are looking he's going to be the cornerstone
Way more film on him now. Good coaches are adjusting their approach against him. He also has gone against some strong bigs lately, something he struggles with at this point.
I still donāt want him to return, he disappeared more than Alex Poythres ever did, canāt trust a 2nd year guy that shows up 3-4 times a year.
There was a lot of credit in the Game Thread.
Also, this is the BG everyone wanted to come. Fans were frustrated with him because of lack of awareness and effort.
The question is, can this be consistent for the rest of year? If so, that is a good sign.
Poythress NEVER disappeared on defense. Look at the year he got injured and our results before and after his injury... and he always guarded their best 3 or 4.
Iām guilty. Yelled no on both of them. In replay he squared up great release and rotation.
Did miss a dunk! I thought he would be a good shot blocker with his quickness and jumping ability. Havenāt seen it.
If we had the BG of today across the entire season, we probably have five or six fewer losses.
He's coming out gunning tomorrow. Buckle up!
lol. I guess maybe so but if analytics tells me that a 13% three point shooter should take that shot up 1 halfway through the second half of a win or go home game, then we need better analytics or a better person analyzing them or both.Maybe the analytics say otherwise ??
