I figured I would just start it myself.

NBC is showing 18-18 score with just a few seconds remaining in the first quarter.

1Q ended at 18-18 tie. Nebraska opens the second quarter with a three, shooting 5 of 9 from beyond the arc.

Now 23-18, Nebraska. What is RU's aversion to second quarters these days?

Good! They came back nicely at the end of the half.

In other news, in the spirit of "all in," Rutgers wrestling (#24 in the nation) is dominating Michigan State so far 21-0 after 6 or 7 matches (out of 10).

Just got home and saw the last 5 minutes or so. Nice, now keep it up ladies. Good to see Morris with the made shot. And Mack being Mack!

I'm really hoping that RU can pull this one out as it could put us into the Top 25. Michigan will drop out after being pummeled at home by UMd, and #18 Arizona is losing at home to Oregon, after having just lost to Oregon State on Friday night. Though those are two great teams, losing to both might be enough to cost the U of A their spot in the Top 25, at least temporarily.

This team is in a battle with another 13-2 team for 2nd place in the conference .. there are 12 posts in the game thread late in the 3rd quarter. I remember our first year in the B1G we had two games almost sold out the RAC vs Tennessee and UNC. Where have all the WBB fans gone, this team is great

Good stat turnovers 3 for RU, 15 for NB
Bad stats: even 24-30 and only 2/8 from foul line

Arella looks tired, hope she isn't getting sick like everyone else around here. I'm nursing 2 broken bones in my foot, plus wicked head cold.

That is a very good question. I can recall weekend games back when we were regulars in the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 that would draw upwards of 7000 fans. Many of those attending seemed to be girls' bball teams but there were also many more RU football fans as well. And of course, the students hardly come at all. You would hope that the team has friends among the student body who would come out to support them but apparently not.

59-50 with 4:49 remaining. C'mon, ladies, don't let them climb back in.

Now 59-52 still with 4:49 left. Nail-biting time.

Years of spotty ugly play drove them away

Radio commentary is that Scarlet Knights need more energy with 3:00 remaining. RU leads 59 55. And Sanders hits a three! 62 55 RU.

Really?
Women finished 5th and 3rd in the conference in the last 5 years with two Tourney appearances.
And what would you call men's basketball play over the same period?

Look at the stretch from the late 90s to late 2000s for comparison

This has zero to do with the horrific mens team so why bring them up...their attendence was trash as well
