The Scarlet Knights need to right the ship and break this 3 game skid. The loss of Jenkins seems to have affected the team a lot worse than us fans had anticipated. Of course losing a senior who scored and rebounded as well as Jenkins could only hurt. Now is the time for the rest of the team to rally, play very smart, very hard, and end the regular season on a stable note.

Tonight's opponent, Indiana , is currently 6-8 in conference, 17-9 overall. RU sits in 3rd place w a 9-4 conference record, 17-7 overall. Like RU, Indiana has also lost it's last 3 games (Mich, MSU, Minn),they have also lost 5 of their last 6.

IMO, THIS IS A MUST GAME !

I'm guessing Carey and Giruantes will be our leaders tonight, as well as Cryor and Zippy at point, although I'm not sure what the story is with Cryor, why she hasn't been seeing more floor time.

RU beat Indiana , earlier in Feb 69-64. Of course, that was w Jenkins in the lineup.

CViv has GOT to get her team focused , and get this WIN.

Game is being televised on regular BTN TV at 7 tonight.

First time out RU leads 8-6, almost all RU scoring on layups, still missing from outside. Cryor passing well.

Cryor once again loses her temper and gets a Technical. This is a problem with Cryor and some others. DISCIPLINE !!!!!!

RU up 16-12 at end of first. Giurantes still ICE COLD w 1-6 shooting. Wilson has 6 pts Harris w 5 Rebounds. RU w an 11-6 rebounding advantage.

In the first meeting we fell behind by 14
then in the third quarter pressed them to cause turnovers and got back in the game. Why not press earlier?

just horrible right there...two RU players fighting for a missed 3 which would have likely gone out of bounds....and then they aimlessly throw it right to Yanni for a layup...wtf..this is the stuff that boggles the mind...what kind of bball iq does that

they do not need to have that spark, they just need to work hard and concentrate on winning, thats all that matters at this point to salvage the season, they can look terrible while they do it, its about getting two wins to secure a bid

5 Min to go in half RU leads 22-19. Carey and Giurantes on the bench almost the entire 2nd qtr.

Less depth without Jenkins. And now Carey on bench w foul trouble very early.

Wallace is a foul machine, ugh. 2 fouls in 3 minutes. With no Jenkins or Care Viv is forced to play Giles and Wallace. yikes.

and now third foul..stupid....RU had 32-24 lead a minute ago and just played pourous D and now its 32-31....they shoot themselves in the foot so quickly

Extremely Undisciplined Cryor continues to hurt the team. I think now why she is in and out of C Viv's doghouse. Such a talent and such a head case.

RU leads at half 32-31, getting only a total of 6 pts from Offensive leaders Carey (foul trouble) and Giurantes (can't hit a shot , 1-6).

To your own comment about the poor save, it helps to win when the lights are on....

Team was looking good until the last 1:17 ... bad news, 7-0 run to cut the lead to 1. Good news is RU up by 1. I am sure all teams have bad stretches ... but man sometimes I wonder what’s in that Jersey water.

she shot the ball with 9 seconds and was called for a charge..then she fouls the other way..thats poor bball IQ.....just take the last second shot at worst RU up 3..wtf, she just killed the team by picking up 2 fouls in 6 seconds

and the technical on this team have to stop..that goes to coaching and discipline

Rutgers has taken ZERO FTs, IND is 6 for 8 and RU been called for 11 fouls, IND 6 fouls.

All the stats that might signal one team is more aggressive, earned more fouls.. is about even.. points in paint, 3 point shooting, Rutgers is somewhat ahead in rebounds and steals.. Rutgers is way ahead in assists.. IND ahead in points off TO. No blocks for either team (until the one I just saw in the 3rd).

Fair? you tell me.

9 turnovers total...4 for CC..that isnt going to get it done

there is nothing about Indiana that is necessarily impressive.,.no excuse to lose this game

Hopefully Carey plays smart and plays the entire 2nd half. If they can get production from Giurantes, who's shot disappeared in the first half, RU could win going away.

The other problem is just about every Big 10 conference team RU plays brings their A game in every sport. It’s rare Rutgers plays a team that is having an off night...once in a great while...for example there were 5 incredible shots Indiana made tonight that usually a team doesn’t make that has only won 2 games in their last nine....it’s just the way it is...there will be no room for any mistakes in the second half or RU will lose their 4th straight...also I would run a lot of plays on the RU bench side of the floor...make the refs call hand checks and other ticky tack fouls on IU.
