P.J. Haggerty's tenacity epitomized Tulsa's game Thursday night when shots weren't falling. A flurry of steals, layups and dunks made up for Tulsa's off shooting night. Haggerty had 20 points, 5 steals and 4 rebounds to lead Tulsa to a 72-52 victory over Jackson State in front of 2,754 at the Reynolds Center.

Time to jump on the TU bandwagon. This team is good.

Would be nice if there was a Nolan type movement on the TU bandwagon.

It really would be. That first Nolan team got to play defending champion Louisville at home in the 3rd game of the season, and won, which lit up the city. Then beat Purdue, another Final Four team from the previous year.

TU really needs to beat OSU. Even though OSU seems to be down, a win there would get some attention. Need to knock off some good conference opponents. It took awhile for Tubby's 1994 team to start filling up the Convention Center. Win and the fans will appear.

Someone needs to channel their inner Bishop Wheatley and have the game of their life vs OSU. Do that and we may beat this years OSU team by 15-20.

I still can’t believe how great Wheatley looked in that game and then never repeated it.
