That was a great game. Iowa State just overwhelmed Gronowski on the last series, 2 big sacks and the last play he had about 10 seconds to throw and couldn’t find anyone.

We didn’t miss out on anything with Gronowski. This Iowa team is as usual. Elite defense and no offense. Zzzzz.

Gronowski stinks. He has a weak arm and can’t read a defense. He can run a bit more though than Stone but given Iowa won’t let him it probably won’t be a real factor all season.

Based on the first two games, Stone is definitely the better passer.

Stone has no RPO game, though, but Gronkowski isn't exactly an open field threat but he can bull his way for some yards.

Weird how when a good QB ends up in a poor system with poor, overmatched talent around them they suddenly don’t look great
